Summary

The MIRACLE project aims to enhance digital literacy and sustainability skills among both teachers and pupils by engaging them in the co-creation of digital comics focused on Climate Change (CC). By combining digital tools with creative tasks, the project allows students to challenge and identify arguments denying climate change, spurring their engagement and inspiring them to find solutions. Teachers will receive training in addressing Climate Change through augmented reality (AR) comics, encouraging students to reflect on individual behaviors and lifestyles. The project also includes the development of an inclusive Digital Learning Environment (DLE) to help students increase their awareness of environmental issues and adopt more sustainable habits. Through validation and impact assessment, MIRACLE evaluates how these activities contribute to the European Green Deal, fostering a proactive, informed approach to climate challenges in education.

  • Students – Engaging them in active learning through digital comics to address environmental challenges.
