Summary

The Work as a Remedy project promotes the inclusion of individuals with mental disabilities in the open labor market by raising awareness, sharing good practices, and providing practical career guidance tools. By drawing on the experiences of partner organizations across Europe, the project aims to increase knowledge about diverse job opportunities and inspire a positive approach toward employment. A key focus is on showcasing real-life success stories of individuals with mental disabilities who have found meaningful employment, helping to dismantle barriers and misconceptions. The project delivers two main outcomes: a Motivating Video that encourages individuals with mental disabilities to pursue job opportunities and a Good Practice Book featuring nine real-world employment stories from different EU countries. These resources, available in English, Spanish, Czech, and Greek, aim to empower individuals, career counselors, and employers to foster a more inclusive workforce.
